Sterling, VA, September 9, 2026 –The International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) is pleased to welcome Pearl Walker, Senior Director of Learning at SAE International, to its Board of Directors.

Walker brings extensive experience in learning and development, portfolio strategy, product development, and learning operations. At SAE International, she leads portfolio strategy, revenue growth, and product development across the organization’s Professional Development business, supporting learning across the Automotive, Aerospace, and Engineering Tools & Methods sectors.

“Pearl brings a strong understanding of what it takes to develop and scale quality professional learning,” said Randy Bowman, President & CEO of IACET. “Her experience connecting learning strategy with organizational and industry needs will bring an important perspective to the IACET Board.”

Walker joined SAE International in 2016 and has held progressively senior learning leadership roles within the organization. Prior to SAE, she spent more than a decade in operations and learning and development leadership with McDonald’s, where her work included developing training curricula and supporting blended learning initiatives.

“Joining the IACET Board is an honor, and I'm eager to bring my experience in portfolio strategy and product development to help advance the standards that make continuing education and training credible and impactful. I'm especially looking forward to contributing to conversations on how professional development organizations can innovate and scale quality learning experiences,” said Walker.

Walker holds a Master of Science in Business Education and Instructional Leadership and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Robert Morris University. She is a member of the Association for Talent Development (ATD) and previously served as Vice President of Finance for the Pittsburgh Chapter of ATD.

As a member of the IACET Board of Directors, Walker will contribute her experience in learning strategy, product development, and professional education as the organization continues its work to advance quality and strengthen the impact of continuing education and training
