Sterling, VA, August 26, 2026 – International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training is pleased to welcome Dr. Patti P. Phillips as a new Director on its Board of Directors. Phillips is co-founder and CEO of ROI Institute, Inc., a consulting firm that helps organizations in 70 countries build capability in measurement, evaluation, and analytics. Her work includes evaluating the impact and return on investment of talent development, certification, accreditation, technology, and other performance-improvement initiatives.
Her career also reflects extensive experience in credentialing and standards. Phillips helped refine the Certified ROI Professional credential, contributed to the development of the Association for Talent Development’s CPLP credential, and has led independent evaluations of major professional credentials. In 2018, she served on IACET’s Strategic Competency-Based Learning Standard Development Taskforce.
Phillips is the author, co-author, or editor of more than 75 books and has held significant governance roles in international organizations. She currently serves as Board Chair of the International Federation of Training and Development Organizations and Chair of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research Evaluation Advisory Board, after previously serving as UNITAR Board Vice Chair and a finance committee member.
Her background in measurement, governance, standards, and global learning initiatives will support IACET’s continued focus on quality, accountability, and measurable value in continuing education and training.
