Sterling, VA, August 26, 2026 – International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) is pleased to announce the return of Dr. Laura Foxx, to its Board of Directors, continuing a record of service to IACET that has included leadership across the Board, Finance Committee, and Executive Committee.
A career public service professional, Foxx brings experience spanning healthcare, higher education, corporate philanthropy, organizational leadership, and community service. Her career has included leading large-scale initiatives and leadership teams with an emphasis on operational excellence and employee engagement.
“Laura has given a great deal to IACET through her previous Board service as Treasurer, and we are grateful that she has chosen to continue that commitment,” said Randy Bowman, President and CEO of IACET. “She brings a thoughtful understanding of governance, strategy, organizational performance, and stewardship, along with the ability to look at challenges from both a systems and people perspective. That combination continues to make her an important voice on our Board.”
Foxx’s professional expertise includes strategic planning, budgeting, policy, organizational design and development, performance management, continuous improvement, change management, and leadership development. She holds a doctorate in management with an emphasis in organizational leadership and is a certified executive and organizational coach.
Her career has also included leadership roles in higher education and corporate philanthropy, including service as chief advancement officer for the University of North Carolina System and leadership positions with the NationsBank Foundation and Bank of America Foundation.
Within IACET, Foxx has previously served as Treasurer, Chair of the Finance Committee, and a member of the Executive Committee, experience that gives her significant institutional knowledge as she continues her service on the Board.
“Following my role as the organization’s Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee, I am humbled that my peers have elected me, thereby elevating the uniqueness of my status from financial oversight, to re-join the Board of Directors.
