We are pleased to announce the appointment of Kimberly Kalista as the Marketing and Communications Manager for the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). Kim will oversee branding and business development initiatives for IACET. She is also responsible for creating marketing strategies to reach new training organizations and affiliates within the continuing education and training industry.
Kim has fifteen years of healthcare marketing experience and has worked at the top three hospitals in northeast Ohio. One of her strengths is aligning marketing strategy with targeted messaging and content across multiple creative platforms—digital, social media, print advertising, direct mail and video—to accomplish business goals. Prior to moving to Ohio, Kim lived in New York City where she worked in sales and marketing for the medical device, pharmaceutical and manufacturing industries.
Casandra Blassingame, IACET CEO, stated that, “For the first time in the history of the organization, we have a marketing professional as a member of the staff. IACET has been positioned as a thought leader as an accrediting body in the continuing education and training realm. We are looking forward to Kim bringing her expertise to collaborate with the entire team to advance the strategic plan which includes increasing our brand awareness and expanding our global footprint.”
Kim’s passion for service and commitment to life-long learning and resourceful problem-solving make her a great team player. Kim holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Carnegie Mellon and is working on her Master of Business Administration from Ursuline College.
