IACET Publishes Petroleum and Natural Gas Addendum
The IACET Petroleum and Natural Gas (PNG) Addendum is an extension of the ANSI/IACET 1-2018 Standard for Continuing Education and Training. The IACET-PNG Addendum is a product of more than a year and half of effort by IACET-PNG Advisory Board and was designed by petroleum and natural gas stakeholders from more than 20 different industry organizations. The IACET-PNG 
Addendum contains 34 additional elements to the ANSI/IACET 1-2018 Standard for Continuing Education and Training. The addendum was developed to contribute to raising the bar on training standards for one of the largest and most dangerous industries in the world. IACET-PNG Advisory Board Chair Bryan Wollam said,"this addendum will help ensure our industry stays safe and productive. There are huge benefits to providing a framework specific to oil and natural gas companies and IACET's Standard for Continuing Education and Training provided a perfect foundation on which to base the additional criteria set forth in the addendum."
