Call for 2021 IACET Award Nominations

The IACET Awards program honors deserving individuals, innovators, projects or programs that have significantly contributed to the field of continuing education and training. IACET members are invited to submit self-nominations or nominations for other Accredited Provider programs. The deadline for nominations is March 29, 2021.

• Innovation of the Year Award - Learner Engagement
• Innovation of the Year Award - Technology Integration
• Distinguished Service Award
• The Grover J. Andrews Research Award
• Emerging Leaders Award

Did you know - If your organization wins an award, IACET provides a complimentary hotel room, a free ticket to the awards reception and up to a $500 stipend toward one person's travel to the event to accept the award.

IACET is seeking nominations for the following 2021 Awards:

1. Exemplar Training Organization Award - This award honors exemplary, results-oriented programs or projects that demonstrate cost-effective, significant and relevant impact on the populations served. 
   ^* Nominees must be an IACET Accredited Provider in good standing. Nominees cannot be IACET Sponsors and an organization cannot win the same award more than once in a five-year period.
2. Innovation of the Year Award – Learner Engagement – This award recognizes the “best of the best” in engagement and the classroom learning environment.  If your organization has a specific course that is successful at engaging the learner in the classroom in an innovative way, submit an award nomination using the form below.
   ^* Nominees must be an IACET Accredited Provider in good standing. Nominees cannot be IACET Sponsors and an organization cannot win the same award more more than once in a five-year period.
3. Innovation of the Year Award – Technology Integration – This award recognizes the best of the best” in the use of eLearning design, simulation programs, virtual learning platforms or other uses of technology that enable highly engaging and effective learning.
   ^* Nominees must be an IACET Accredited Provider in good standing. Nominees cannot be IACET Sponsors and an organization cannot win the same award more than once in a five-year period.
4. Distinguished Services Award – This award recognizes an individual for exceptional service and major leadership to IACET. 
   ^* Nominees must be an IACET member in good standing and a member for five or more years.
5. The Grover J. Andrews Research Award – This research award was established to recognize the visionary leadership and profound contributions to research in the field of continuing education and training.
6. Emerging Leaders Award ­– This award recognizes individuals that although new to the professional workforce, have demonstrated exemplary leadership potential and outstanding service. The Emerging Leaders Award serves to highlight the accomplishments of our achieving peers who demonstrate visionary leadership with great promise for the coming years.
   ^* Nominees must be an IACET Accredited Provider in good standing. Nominees cannot be IACET Sponsors

Award recipients will be honored at a reception held at the Hyatt Regency Reston, Reston, VA on Wednesday, September 22, 2021.
