Los Angeles, Calif — Business U’s Co-founder and CEO, Dr. Christine Bosworth (pictured below) has been appointed to serve on the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) Board of Directors. IACET is a third-party accrediting agency that ensures providers of continuing education and training (CE/T) have completed rigorous audits that meet the ANSI/IACET 2018-1 Standard addressing the design, development, administration, and evaluation of learning programs.
The IACET is the originator of the continuing education unit (CEU), and its ANSI/IACET Standard measures all aspects of a CE/T provider’s program development across the following nationally recognized categories: Organization, Responsibility and Control; Learning Environment and Support Systems; Planning and Instructional Personnel; Needs Analysis; Learning Outcomes; Content and Instructional Requirements; Assessment of Learning Outcomes; Awarding the IACET CEU; Maintaining Learner Records; and the Evaluation of Learning Events.

Dr. Bosworth is an education and business leader with more than 25 years of operations, program development, and management experience. She is a nationally recognized subject matter expert in business engagement and served as a commissioner and executive officer on the Los Angeles County Workforce Development Board. She has a master’s degree specializing in adult education and earned her doctorate degree from UCLA in educational leadership.
