Effectively supporting adult learners in a dynamic economic environment requires innovative educational strategies and strong collaborative partnerships. Hosted by Tagoras, this webinar convenes thought leaders from the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning (CAEL), American Association for Adult and Continuing Education (AAACE), and National Association of Workforce Development Professionals (NAWDP) to discuss critical trends such as experiential learning, credit for prior learning (CPL), and workforce development strategies essential to adult learner success. The session will explore diverse adult learner profiles—including mid-career professionals and lifelong learners—and examine personalized educational pathways that align closely with employment opportunities. Additionally, attendees will learn about the growing importance of short-term training, certifications, registered apprenticeships, and work-based learning programs. The discussion will also address employer perceptions of traditional educational pathways and strategies to build greater trust and relevance.
