A Learning and Development (L&D) program's Vision, Mission, and Values Statement is its grounding message, forming the foundation upon which employee learning resides. By broadly defining what the L&D department does and by providing clear direction for the training path, this document clarifies the role of L&D. In turn, this should establish alignment between accreditation and the organization's Vision, Mission and Values Statement.
