11:00 am–12:00 pm EST

Instructional design teams and subject matter experts create and deliver impactful learning experiences and events.  Successful collaborations can result in great results and mutual learning.  However, just like any other project, sometimes designing and developing learning can be fraught with challenges such as power struggles, steep learning curves, scope creep, miscommunication, and utter chaos.  The impacts of such challenges can be low morale, poor (or no) results, added expense, missed deadlines, and stress.

This fun, interactive session focuses on specific, practical best practices to build and maintain productive and constructive relationships between SMEs and instructional design teams built on mutual respect and a spirit of collaboration and mutual learning.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this webinar, attendees will be able to:

- Discuss common challenges between SMEs and instructional design teams

- Identify the root causes of common challenges

- Develop specific strategies around relationship building, project planning, and collaborating for results
