Sterling, VA — August 27, 2025-The International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) announced the election of Vanessa Stratton, Ed.D. to its Board of Directors in a member-elected seat. Dr. Stratton is Senior Vice President of Instructional Development at Project Lead The Way (PLTW), where she oversees strategic planning, significant program budgets, and a product team dedicated to high instructional standards and web accessibility for curriculum and training. Since joining PLTW in 2012, she has served as Vice President of Programs and Senior Director, helping develop and expand key elementary and middle school STEM programs. Her experience spans organizational leadership, curriculum design and development, PreK–12 education, workforce development, STEM, and computer science education. A former science and engineering teacher, Dr. Stratton holds an Ed.D. from Trevecca Nazarene University.
