It is highly recommended that participants also attend the full-day accreditation preparation workshop (Course 100) prior to attending.

Description: This full-day virtually delivered workshop expands on the one-day Accreditation Preparation Workshop by providing participants opportunities to practice writing policies, procedures, and developing plans to collect evidence. It also provides more in-depth discussion about what to submit for the annual reports so they can best position themselves for reaccreditation in the 5th year.

Target Audience: Individuals responsible for IACET compliance, including those from:

  • New applicant organizations who are not yet accredited
  • Currently accredited organizations who have had major position and organizational changes in their CE/T departments and functions
  • Previously accredited organizations that have had their IACET accreditation lapse.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this workshop, learners will be able to:

  1. Differentiate between policies, processes, instructions, SOPs, and evidence for the 2018 Standard IACET Applications
  2. Develop and document policies and processes that reflect their CE/T functions
  3. Create a plan to gather evidence that supports their documented policies and procedures
  4. Create a plan for communicating CE/T documentation throughout the organization (as well as third parties and clients) to ensure consistency and compliance
  5. Discuss aspects of annual reporting and how effective documentation of changes and improvements facilitates the process of reaccreditation
