Elects New Board Members

The International Accreditors of Continuing Education and Training (IACET), an educational standard developing organization, announced today that they have elected two officers and three Directors to the Board of Directors. The elected members are all prestigious leaders, who will serve alongside an already elite list of Continuing Education and Training professionals.

“IACET is blessed to have dedicated volunteers serve throughout the organization, including the IACET Board,” stated Chairman of the Board, Andrew Kauser.  “We are very grateful to everyone who has served and continues to serve IACET.  As Chair of the Board, I am pleased to welcome our new and returning Board members.  We are excited to have broadened our industry representation and at the same time, add an International member.  The 2020-2021 IACET Board is well positioned to help IACET achieve its strategic plan.”

Casandra Blassingame, CEO of IACET said, “Despite the challenges we face as a global community, IACET continues to grow and attract industry professionals willing to dedicate their time and talents to the organization.  We are looking forward to working with our newest Directors, Maria Diaz and Daryl Lim, and re-elected for a second term, Dr. Leigha Jansen.”

The organization’s history includes development of the original Continuing Education Unit (CEU) and creation and maintenance of the ANSI/IACET Standard for Continuing Education and Training.
