Deadline for 2017 IACET Award Nominations has been extended!

The IACET Awards program honors deserving individuals, innovators, projects or programs that have significantly contributed to the field of continuing education and training. IACET members are invited to submit self-nominations or nominations for other AP programs. The deadline for nominations is 5:00 PM Eastern Time on Monday, June 19, 2017.

DYK? If your organization wins an award, IACET provides a complimentary hotel room, a free ticket to the awards reception and up to a $500 stipend toward one person's travel to the event to accept the award.

IACET is seeking nominations for the following 2017 Awards:

1. Exemplar Training Organization Award - This award honors exemplary, results-oriented programs or projects that demonstrate cost-effective, significant and relevant impact on the populations served. 
   ^*Nominees must be an IACET Accredited Provider in good standing. Nominees cannot be IACET Sponsors and an organization cannot win the same award more frequently than every five years. 
2. Innovation of the Year Award – Learner Engagement – This award recognizes the “best of the best” in engagement and the classroom learning environment. 
   ^*Nominees must be an IACET Accredited Provider in good standing. Nominees cannot be IACET Sponsors and an organization cannot win the same award more frequently than every five years. 
3. Innovation of the Year Award – Technology Integration –  This award recognizes the best of the best” in the use of eLearning design, simulation programs, virtual learning platforms or other uses of technology that enable highly engaging and effective learning.
   ^*Nominees must be an IACET Accredited Provider in good standing. Nominees cannot be IACET Sponsors and an organization cannot win the same award more frequently than every five years. 
4. Distinguished Service Award – This award recognizes an individual for exceptional service and major leadership to IACET. 
   ^*Nominees must be an IACET member in good standing and a member for five or more years.

Award recipients will be honored at a reception held at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Los Angeles, CA on Thursday, October 5, 2017. Award recipients will be notified during the first week of August 2017.
